ABC games: explore, find and trace the letters
Three ways to get to know the alphabet from A to Z. Nothing is timed and mistakes are never punished. Biby just encourages your child to try again and gives a hint after the second mistake.
Explore
A wall of all 26 letters. Tap one and Biby says its name and a word that starts with it: “A is for apple,” “J is for jellyfish,” “R is for rocket.”
Find
Biby asks for a letter and your child picks it from three cards. Later there are four cards, and look-alike letters start showing up among them.
Trace
Letter tracing with a finger along the dots, stroke by stroke, for all capital letters A–Z. Good practice for the hand before writing with a pencil.
Number games: counting to 10
Four modes for the digits 1 to 10. Your child hears each number, sees exactly that many objects, counts them out loud with Biby and traces the shape of the digit.
Explore
Tap a digit and it appears with exactly that many apples, ducks or balloons. Biby names the number and counts the objects out loud.
Count
A pile of objects on the screen. Your child taps them one by one, every tap is counted out loud, and then picks the right number from the cards.
Find
Biby says a number and your child finds it among the cards. It starts with three cards and gets a little harder over time.
Trace
Number tracing for the digits 1–10 with a finger along the dots, with no pressure to perform. Every finished tracing counts.

Who made it
I'm Jan, a dad of a preschooler from the Czech Republic. I built BibyGames for my daughter because I wanted something that talks to her, has no ads and collects nothing about her. It started in Czech, and the English version has its own American English voice and its own words for each letter. More on the About page; teachers will find setup tips on the page For preschools.
Common questions
Is BibyGames really free?
Yes, the whole game is free. There is no paid version, no subscription, nothing to unlock and no in-game purchases. I built it for my daughter and left it open to everyone.
Are there any ads?
No. There are no ads, no pop-ups and no links leading out of the children's part of the game.
What age is it for?
About 3 to 7. The youngest children enjoy the Explore modes, where nothing is scored. Older preschoolers and kindergartners get more out of Find, Count and Trace.
Does my child need to know how to read?
No. There is not a single word of text in the game. Biby the fox says everything out loud in American English, and the child answers by tapping and tracing.
Does it teach letter names or phonics sounds?
Letter names. Biby says the name of each letter and a word that starts with it, like “B is for balloon.” Z is “zee.” The game does not teach blending or reading.
Do I have to install anything or create an account?
No. The game runs in the browser at www.bibygames.com with no sign-up. If you like, you can add it to the home screen of your tablet, and it then opens full screen like an app.
Does it work offline?
Yes. The first launch has to be online (it downloads about 20 MB of voice and pictures). After that the game works without an internet connection, for example in the car or on a plane.
Which devices does it run on?
iPad, Android tablets, phones and computers with a modern browser. A tablet in landscape works best, because tracing with a finger is the most natural.
What data do you collect about my child?
None. Progress is stored only on the device. I measure anonymous traffic only (Google Analytics in cookieless mode) to know how many people open and start the game.
